i havent enchanted my gear at the moment because i know there is much better gear i can get from heroics but untill then all of my gear will be enchanted ready for raids




my previous guilds were The dark alliance ( kara cleared, gruul cleared, mag cleared, ZA cleared) and a few othere low, social leveling guilds




the reason i would like to join is that i like raiding very much and i would like to join a successful raiding guild that is looking to progress toward end game content.

TBH when raiding you should *always* enchant your gear! There is always better gear around the corner.

In his defence I think he's saying that he plans to run a few more heroics to gear up before thinking about enchants, they're not really required for much of the 5 man content - pots and food buffs more than take care of that. The room for error in LK is huge at the moment, the only time you really need to be on the ball is when you're going for random achievements.

Gotta admit I can see the logic in both statements here.


(all the things I'll say here also count for gemming stuff of course..)




Enchanting your gear will make it easier/better to raid and to get progress with, and is somewhat of a requirement to enter naxx with. The more stats. the better.




But if you're constantly running 5mans and/or heroics to grab the rep or drop upgrades you've been wanting, enchanting the "soon to be replaced" gear would be a waste of funds.




My view on this would be somewhat along the lines of:


- If it's purple, or a blue equalling purples, enchant it.


- If it's a blue that's hard to get rid of, enchant it.


- Anything else isn't worth the effort unless you can get it done cheap. (that being through friends / mats you've found)
